TWO posts in two one day!!!
It's your lucky day, man.
Just a quick little thing. I found a new blog today that I really kind of love. It's interesting and fantastic, and I hope you'll like it as much as I do.

Thanks, Pinterest!
I love Pinterest. I'm ever so slightly obsessed with it right now. I think it's brilliant, and something that I wish I had invented. As a matter of fact, the other blog that I have was my attempt to do something similar - put all the design ideas and things I see on the 'net that I like all in one place. Shoulda invented Pinterest myself. Bummer.
ANYWAY. I love that site. And, it's on that site that I found something sweet - an exercise finder. It's from Canada's online Womens' Mag. Canada, eh? It's pretty awesome. You pick a location (say, your thighs), and then you can go more specific if necessary (say, inner thighs). Then, there are pages of exercises that will work those specific areas. I haven't had a chance to use any of the exercises (just discovered the site Friday!), but I'm really excited to do it. I'll get myself a 30-minute workout put together and give a review. If you try it out, post your review too!
Something else kinda cool on the website? An ideal weight calculator. One that asks you to enter your frame size (it shows you how to determine your frame based on the 'ol fingers-around-the-wrist technique). I MUCH prefer the 138 - 153 for my height based on my frame size (large, in case you wanted to know...naturally...) over what the BMI calculator tells me - 115 to 145 being healthy. ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN POUNDS????? Hell no. I would be worse than Skeletor. It would be pretty horrific. Plus, for whatever reason, I feel more comfortable thinking that my high end is 150lb. It doesn't seem like so scarily small a number that I'll never achieve it. Even now, even 40lbs down, I still have quite a long way to go to even hit that 150lb mark. BUT, it doesn't feel like a number that I couldn't hit. It seems completely plausible that I could get there. And I can't wait! :)

Photo comparisons!
So, I mentioned that I would try to bring a more recent pic of myself to the table.
This one is admittedly biased because of the angle, but I like it so it's in.
It's from an album called "That time we almost went to the beer festival" so you can *probably* infer why my right eye looks a little lazy. ha.
Here's another one from the same night. Pre lazy eye, pre wardrobe change. PLUS, a couple of my favorite besties. Heart you kids.
For the record, these two pics above are me minus about 30 pounds in the last 6 months. Not bad, eh? Not as great as I wanted to be by this point, but I refuse to complain about all those pounds lost!
For comparison: Here's me when we were in Germany this past October:
I'm still not sure that I see a difference...anyone out there see one?

Just keep swimming...
Don't expect to see a picture of me in it any time soon, but my new swimsuit came today! Woot!! I've mentioned it before that I've been trying to hunt one down for a while now. I've looked in several different places to find one, but have just not found anything that looks good. Granted, chubby girls don't really ever look phenomenal in a suit, but there are some that are better than others. (I'm looking at you flimsy-topped halters without any kind of support...)
I'm not OVERLY in love with the thing, but I do really like it. The boobs are a smidge odd, and that's really the only true complaint I have about it. For the first time in my life, I'm going to say that they're actually too BIG for me. Strange. They're lined, so it's not like I can do a whole lot to fix it on my own. I might consider seeing if a tailor can do anything to fix it, but I'm at least kind of uncomfortable with the idea of parading around in that little suit, with someone digging around in my junk to try to fix it. I think I'll probably just deal. ha.
In case you were curious, it's from Lands End. In the "white floral."
I was hoping for something a little more low-cut, but I'll go with it. With the big jubblies, it even looks pretty good strapless. So, see ya later, tan lines! :) I got the bottom that the model is wearing - a solid salmon color that has cute contrast piping on the top. I actually really like it. Fits my booty (what there is of it...). I'm not horrifically embarrassed to be wearing it, and that's kind of an improvement.
The only downside other than the semi-strange lady lumps is that it wasn't cheap. I plan on wearing the H out of that thing until it's too big. $60 for a one-summer suit is kind of a blow to someone cheap like me, so I've got to get my use out of it!
Hope to see you at the lake! I'll be the one strutting it in hot pink...
